the singing frog

remember that cartoon about the frog that would sing but nobody would ever get to see it because when his friend would try to show somebody he would clam up? well, the word on the street is that campbell is the smiley-est kid on the block. until picture day, apparently. luckily he was still adorable being his serious self and in the meantime i was entertained by his bubbly and sparkly big sis megan. btw, that is mom’s hat that she’s wearing.

kai and emma

i got to hang out with these two cuties last weekend. you may remember emma from here. she’s gotten bigger and gained some weight but i think most of it went to her cheeks, which are so pinchable and yummy. kai’s mom told me that when he got home later that day he was pretending to take pictures and saying, “where’s kai?”

party of five

i got to meet the brown’s latest addition last weekend. he is a little character named evan and it seems like the family sort of has built in entertainment now. i thought it was pretty cute that mom mentioned that jack was the one that wanted to be matching w/ his little brother. and katie was as adorable and sweet as ever.

happy birthday sarah

i got to hang out at sarah’s birthday party last weekend. she was so enthralled with her big bunch of balloons that i think i saw her set them down one time the whole time i was there and it only involved trying to eat cake and hold balloons at the same time- which can be a tricky combo. she was lucky enough to have a puppet show at her party also which was a pretty cute scene. overheard from a little girl in the audience when the giraffe appeared on stage, “he talks!”

happy quinn

i got to meet quinn and her big sis ellie last weekend. the nickname happy quinn i think is not meant to be sarcastic but more wishful thinking, i suppose. we did get to see a few smiles, though, especially when she was playing w/ her dad or when he was dangling a honey stick above my head (which she later enjoyed in a tree).

miss emma

emma had so many cute outfits and no other standing appointments that afternoon so we figured we’d try them all since she didn’t seem to mind in the slighest. how cute is that bunny jacket? and the hat and the blanket were made for her by her grandmother in romania. aren’t they great? also love the wispy little hair.

kate and ella

you may recognize these famous mugs from here. it was much much chillier this time but the girls were real troopers again. their family recently got a golf cart (they live near a golf course) so we got to ride it down to the park, climb some trees and take some pictures. oh, and jump off of the back of the golf cart.

callum

the last time i saw callum he still had cool clothes but he wasn’t getting around as fast. this time he had slides to slide, leaves to throw, pathways to run and golden retrievers in the park to be enthralled with. and i’m left wondering how his mom ever has the power to say no to him when he looks at her with those big beautiful eyes.

the miller girls

i spent another afternoon with vivian and trixie last weekend. these two are so funny how they play off of each other. at some point i commented that they seemed a little like a comedy routine and their mom said that they were probably happy for a new audience. well thanks for the show, viv and trixie.

lucy and owen

i got to hang out with lucy and owen and crew last weekend. luckily they were up for coming over to my place since it was too cold outside for baby owen. and they were nice enough to let me try out my new background, which i think looks pretty cool. lucy  was soooo good for photos i think because she realized early on that the stakes were high and that the payoff was big. note: see last photo. for the record, i asked her to stick her tongue out because i thought it would be funny. and it was.
