happy halloween

some of my buddies came over today for some pics in their most awesome costumes. the cuteness was almost too much to take and everybody was totally up for it- i guess having a bowl of candy on the counter doesn’t hurt. the last one is the softer side of the incredible hulk.

calling all ghosts and goblins

so i had this thought that it would be fun to see all the kiddos in their costumes this year so i’m going to have a little photo booth set up at my place on halloween from 1pm to 4pm. it will be a simple set up- a white background for cute pictures of your kids in their costumes. pictures are free but i’m also going to have a donation jar set out for soulumination, which is an amazing non-profit here in seattle that does some very heartfelt work, so i’m hoping to be able to send some change their way. please let me know if you might be interested in coming and i can send you directions. i would love to see you all.

crew turns one

i got to meet up with crew awhile back for some pictures to celebrate one year. he wasn’t really feeling so great but he was being a trooper so we carried on. he is such a sweetheart and without big brother jack around he got all our attention. and can i just say- how about that old man hair? love it.

what are the odds?

last weekend i had two different families but they both have a set of twins and an older brother, they live in the same neighborhood and they are all friends. first up were the maiders w/ henry, jack and kea and then later that afternoon i had the hollomans with andrew, jackie and allie. it probably changes from day to day but for pictures each sitting had it’s ham. i’ll give you two guesses who the ham is in the holloman family. jackie, you were cracking me up.

jackson and sophia

it was so nice to see these two again (at a park right by their house- which is even better). the last time i saw them sophia was a toddler and, if i remember right, we ended up doing a fair amount of chasing. this time both jackson and sophia were both up for anything. i love this combo- another happy day at the park.

the nelsons

erin works on the same floor as i do and we like to talk about our love for boden- which is why i was so happy to see her bodenesque outfit- it was the perfect pop of color. and her boys are super cute and very entertaining. gavin wants to be just like his big brother and totally follows his every move.

lachlan and lily

i got to hang out with these two cuties at bothell landing last weekend. i just recently discovered that park and i am loving it. the first shot is from a series of lachlan putting his arm around his little sis and her eventually shrugging it off but not before we got a few shots of him looking like the proud big brother. the shot of lachlan on the slidey thing (i can’t remember what you call it) w/ his dad makes me smile every time i see it. i’m pretty sure he could have done that all day.

chocolate chip

we lucked out again w/ another beautiful day at the arboretum last weekend. i got to meet the lovely sadie and the spunky hayley- not to mention chocolate chip the stuffed dog who is, of course, a girl. we took a leisurely stroll down a few paths, gathered some leaves and climbed some trees. pretty good sunday, actually.

hello nova

i finally got to meet ms nova (little sis to audrey and flynn) and i had to try really hard not to squeeze those thighs, that belly- it wasn’t easy- and how about that one tiny curl? we took some pics on their porch (where flynn had some upside down time), went for a short walk to visit their favorite hollowed out tree, had some scooter time and hung out in their backyard. after this sitting i think i’ve decided that i might ask everybody to paint their front door red. you can paint it back after pictures.

little miss avery

i got to meet this sweet love last weekend. avery has a really great coy smile that leads up to her big smile. and you’d never guess it from this cherubic mug but she can belt it out if she has to- so don’t be holding back any bottles. it was fun to be around her parents who are so completely smitten with her. lucky girl.
