morning at discovery park

it’s hard to believe how much older mason seems since the last time i saw him. he is still a very busy guy and he gave us a run for our money but there were also plenty of fun distractions like splashing on the beach, lots of digging in the sand, picking flowers and a break for some lovin on mom and dad.

the walkers revisited

i got to hang out with this family last weekend and as i was going through these pictures i realized that the walkers were the family that started off this blog almost a year ago. you may recognize their famous mugs at the top of my blog. now presley has some sweet baby chub going on and it seems like jackson is still pretty much a mini me of his dad.

and the award goes to…

if there were awards handed out to babies for most expressive eyebrows- jayla would have it in the bag. she was cracking me up with all of her expressions. she also maybe has a little bit of mrs. kravitz in her- anytime an adult, child, dog or car went by she stopped what she was doing to trace it through the parking lot. i was joking that maybe they should put her on neighborhood watch- you know, earn her keep.

still hunting for bugs

when we were able to convince jack to give up bug hunting for a minute, we got these pics of the family hanging out in their yard. new on the scene this year is baby brother crew, who seems to be up for just about anything. good thing- i think he’s going to need that attitude to keep up w/ his big brother.

captain kitty

you may remember my ridiculously cute friend oscar. he is still really into trains and now also maps. he has his sights set on a new map and so there is a sign by his bedroom door charging $1 to get into his room. he showed me his new tree swing (awesome) and grandma tooty (his stuffed monkey). thanks for a fun and lazy sunday afternoon in portland- see you on the fourth!

my yoga friend

i’ve been wanting to take some photos down in the sodo area and luckily rebekah and her crew were up for it. they were so cute together- you definitely get the vibe that they like each other a lot and enjoy just hanging out together. i tried to give even less directions than i sometimes do and they just really naturally fell into it.

vivian and trixie

first of all- great names, right? i believe trixie is actually a beatrix.i couldn’t believe how grown up vivian looked this time- it’s crazy how fast they change. i got to hang out w/ these two cuties in their backyard last weekend- they had plenty of great ideas for photos. isn’t it beautiful? gotta love summer in seattle.
