could she be any cuter?

that would be no, and she is also super sweet. i met up w/ ali last week at her grandparent’s house in west seattle. they have this piece of land that is so beautiful in a secret garden kind of way- there are trails, bridges and benches. i took her brother blake’s senior pics there a couple years ago too. after that we headed to alki and i got to check out a park i’d never been to before. what i didn’t notice until this time is how funny their dog’s smile is- i think it’s the black outline that makes it so great.

alexis

for senior number two last weekend i had alexis. isn’t she lovely? she got a little more attention on the street (sorry austin) than my previous senior. when i asked her to cross the street so that i could take her picture walking through the intersection, an older gentleman asked if it was common for seattle to have cheerleaders at the crosswalks. we had a good time walking around and even took a few pics at seattle art museum since she wants to work at a museum after college.

austin

i mentioned to someone that i’d photographed a couple of seniors over the weekend and they thought that i meant the gray-haired kind. nope, i mean the kind that is nearing the end of high school and soon to be on a new adventure. first up is austin- he was so laid back and up for anything that i jokingly told him i had an idea for a photo of him in the fountain and he said, “sure”. thanks for making it so easy, austin. up tomorrow is my second senior, alexis.

a good sport

blake- thanks for being such a good sport. you didn’t even complain. not once. we took these photos at his grandparents beautiful property in west seattle.
